NORWALK – A person was found shot to death in a local park early Sunday morning.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a gunshot victim in the 14700 block of Gridley Rd. shortly before 1:00 a.m. The address matches Gerdes Park.
Upon arrival, deputies found the person unresponsive. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics pronounced them deceased at the scene.
There are no details on either the age or gender of the victim. Their identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
A suspect fled in a white vehicle in an unknown direction armed with a black handgun.
