GARDENA – Police seized a large quantity of illegal fireworks in Gardena, authorities said Thursday.
Personnel from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Bomb Squad responded to the 1600 block of West 146th Street around 7 pm. Wednesday while LAPD police officers were serving a search warrant, according to the LAPD.
No residents were evacuated during the operation.
