GARDEN GROVE – A person died Sunday morning after getting out of a burning vehicle on the side of the Garden Grove (22) Freeway in Garden Grove.
A witness reported a small fire on the westbound Garden Grove at Golden West Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A witness then reported seeing a body on fire and a burning vehicle on the right shoulder, the CHP said.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 3:48 a.m. shutting down the westbound Garden Grove Freeway at the Golden West Street offramp.
