LOS ANGELES – A 23-year-old man was fatally shot Thursday in the Manchester Square area of South Los Angeles.
Officers responded around 7:30 a.m. to the 8300 block of South Denker Avenue and found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The name of the victim was being withheld by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner pending notification of relatives.
There was no description of a suspect.
