PALMDALE – A man was found dead near an elementary school in Palmdale early Friday morning.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a call of a unresponsive man in the 2900 block of Greenbrier Street around 6:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, the man’s body was discovered near Anaverde Hills School suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
