SANTA CLARITA – A deputy was injured in a rollover crash Wednesday afternoon.
The patrol SUV was t-boned at the intersection of Newhall Ranch Road and Bouquet Canyon Road which caused the SUV to flip and land on its wheels around 12:20 p.m.
The deputy was in the intersection with lights and sirens activated at the time of the crash en route to a house burglary call, according to sources.
The deputy was rushed to a trauma center in unknown condition with a sheriff’s department escort.
Two other people were injured in the crash, one of which is a 90-year-old man. It’s unknown how many deputies were injured at this time.
