COMPTON – A man was shot to death Friday in Compton.
The fatal shooting occurred around 6:25 a.m. Friday in the 2200 block of West 153rd Street, near Bursch Elementary School, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has identified the man as Bryan Haywood.
There was no suspect information and a possible motive for the shooting was unclear.
Authorities urged anyone with information about the shooting to call the sheriff’s department’s at 323-890-5500.
