LOS ANGELES – A 23-year-old man who was fatally shot in the Manchester Square area of South Los Angeles was identified Friday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
Officers responded around 7:30 a.m. Thursday to the 8300 block of South Denker Avenue and found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The medical examiner identified the victim as Kevin Carlos Villalpando of Los Angeles.
There was no description of a suspect.
