LAKEWOOD – A vehicle crashed into a Denny’s restaurant in Lakewood Sunday morning, where two people were shot at the scene, authorities said.
Paramedics rushed the two victims to a hospital in stable condition, according to a watch commander at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lakewood station.
The crash occurred at about 1:50 a.m. Sunday at 2634 E. Carson St., she said.
It was not immediately clear how much damage the structure sustained.
