LOS ANGELES – A man was taken into custody Sunday evening in connection with a shooting in south Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the area of 52nd Street and Figueroa Street to a reported call of shots fired around 10:43 p.m.
Upon arrival, the officer’s patrol vehicle was rear ended by a hit-and-run driver with the suspected driver fleeing towards the 110 freeway.
The suspect was arrested and taken into custody after he was found.
