LOS ANGELES – A possibly stolen Metro bus crashed into the luxury Ritz-Carlton hotel Wednesday night.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to reports of a crash involving a Metro bus in the area of S Georgia St and W Olympic Blvd. near Crypto.com Arena around 11:30 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a Metro Bus crashed into the Ritz-Carton hotel.
A suspect reportedly fled from the bus after the crash.
LAPD also reported that an armed grand theft auto had occurred in the area and that the incidents might be related.
At least one person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Details surrounding the incident remain unclear.
