PICO RIVERA – A man was fatally shot near a Pico Rivera bus stop Thursday night.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies with the Pico Rivera station responded to a gunshot victim on a sidewalk near the bus stop in the 9300 block of Slauson Ave. around 10:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, deputies and firefighters located one victim suffering from a gunshot on the sidewalk.
Firefighters and paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unknown at this time what led up to the shooting or details on possible suspect(s).
The victims identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
