LONG BEACH – A man in a wheelchair was injured Saturday when he was struck by a vehicle while crossing an exit from the Riverside (91) Freeway in Long Beach.
The crash was reported about 3:15 p.m. Saturday on Atlantic Avenue at the 91 Freeway exit, according to Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman Alexis Lauro.

The on ramp to the 91 fwy going East is where my childhood home once stood. The state gave my family 20K for that home back in 1962. Those homes now go for 600K and up. It’s not because homes are suddenly worth more, it’s because out money is worthless, and every time Joe prints up more money to give away, the more worthless out money becomes. There are no free lunches and what the government gives you with one hand, they take away with the other.
