LOS ANGELES – A man found dead Sunday in a tent along the 91 Freeway in Compton was identified.
Nicholas Florez was 37 years old and an autopsy was pending to determine the cause of his death, according to the Medical Examiner’s office.
The discovery at 17600 Santa Fe Ave. was made around 1:45 p.m. Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Medical Examiner’s office described the location of Florez’s death as a field between a property and freeway.
