LOS ANGELES – Two people were killed Saturday in a multiple-vehicle crash in the Baldwin Hills-Crenshaw area of Los Angeles.
The crash was reported at 2:56 p.m. at 5048 W. Coliseum St. at La Brea Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.
The two victims were initially trapped in the wreckage and freed by firefighters with hydraulic tools but ultimately pronounced dead at the scene, Humphrey said.
The victims’ ages and genders were not immediately available.
No other injuries were reported, he said.
Traffic in the area of the intersection was impacted by the crash and investigation.
