LOS ANGELES – There were no tickets sold matching all six numbers in Tuesday’s (Feb. 6) drawing of the Mega Millions lottery, according to officials.
There were three tickets sold matching five numbers.
Winning tickets sold in Ohio and Pennsylvania are worth $1 million each.
A winning ticket was also sold in California and is worth $1,578,415. It was sold in Napa.
While tickets with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, sold in other states are worth $1 million or a multiple of $1 million, California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis, meaning they are determined by sales and the number of winners
The numbers drawn Tuesday night were 2, 10, 31, 44, 57 and the Mega number is 10.
The next drawing is Friday with an estimated jackpot of $394 million.
The Mega Millions game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.
