HUNTINGTON BEACH – Authorities Thursday identified a pedestrian who succumbed to injuries in a collision with a car in Huntington Beach Wednesday night.
Johnny Lee Davis, 67, of Stockton, was struck and killed while crossing Beach Boulevard at Williams Drive about 10 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said.
The driver behind the 2021 Tesla Model Y that struck Davis remained on scene and cooperated with investigators, police said. The Tesla was southbound on Beach when it struck the victim.
Police do not suspect the 33-year-old driver from Huntington Beach was impaired in any way, police said.
