Another automated people mover project in Los Angeles has run into its fair share of roadblocks.
The $2 billion Inglewood Transit Connector Project, which would connect the Metro K Line to Inglewood and provide easier access to venues like SoFi Stadium, Kia Forum and Intuit Dome, has also ran into several delays in its preliminary stages.
That system, which will be owned by the City of Inglewood, was originally expected to begin operations in time for the 2028 Summer Olympics with construction beginning later this year.
That project has since been delayed until at least 2030, missing the Olympics and several other high-profile sporting events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 2026 NBA All-Star Game and Super Bowl LXI in 2027.

Is it possible ? Did some elected finally realize that tax dollars taken from everyday residents should be used for everyday resident needs rather than gifting those dollars to the bank accounts of billionaies?
Most would thing that there should be priorities of how tax dollars should be spent..
Perhaps:
education (not contracts for building but teaching basic skills, maybe a field trip to a museum each year.
after school learning adventures – arts/science/research training
Senior services that provide genuine needs rather than rubber chicken for a few
Social Security increases for those who may need a little home help
Existing infrastructure repair to roads, sewers, and water pipes
Finding cures for cancer, alzheimers, autism, and diabetes
Providing services to veterans who fought for freedoms we take for granted.
Tax dollars spent from local, state, and federal bank accounts should benefit the general population not be generous gifts for the rich whose lives already significantly more than any human needs.
Sadly tax dollars meant for Health, Education and Welfare of the working class appear to be being diverted to the addictions of entertainment for the benefit of only the wealthy.
If moral character and integrity was available to be purchased to instill in rather than sold off by politicians we would have a well educated, healthier and much safer country in which to live.
