LAKE LOS ANGELES – A 17-year-old boy was killed in a single- vehicle rollover crash in Lake Los Angeles, authorities said Saturday.
The crash occurred about 11:15 p.m. Friday on Avenue O west of 165th Street East, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Stephen Brandt.
One person was ejected during the crash, Brandt said. He could not confirm that the ejected person was the person pronounced dead at the scene.
The medical examiner’s office identified the deceased as Alejandro Monge Ramos.
A news videographer at the scene said the vehicle was a white Jeep Wrangler and the ejected victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He said two victims were airlifted in critical condition to Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster and two victims were taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
