SANTA CLARITA – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a driver Thursday night.
Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision in the 16500 block of north Sierra Highway and Arline Street around 5:40 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found a pickup truck hit a pedestrian that was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There are no details on the gender of the victim. Their identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
California Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
