LONG BEACH – A man was stabbed during a fight with some suspects in Long Beach, authorities said Monday.
The victim was approached by an unknown number of suspects in the area of Willow Street and Atlantic at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, when a brief argument escalated into a fight and the victim suffered a superficial stabbing wound to the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
The suspects fled the scene prior to the arrival of police, and paramedics treated the victim at the scene.
“At this time, no suspect information is available, and no other injuries were reported,” police said. “The investigation is ongoing.”
