Grab your beanies, jackets and scarves and head over to the Los Angeles County Arboretum for Lightcape, an immersive light experience, brought to you by US Bank.
You will spend a little over an hour walking through the 127-acre Arboretum & Botanic Garden and don’t feel the need to rush as you won’t be able to help yourself in indulging in selfies along the way.
“I’m so excited to welcome everyone to our signature holiday light show, Lightscape! We have pulled out all the stops this year to deliver an incredible multi-media experience unlike any other holiday event,” says Michael Desplaines, CEO of Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden. “Lightscape is sure to entertain kids of all ages. We can’t wait to see you here!”
The trails feature themed sections of different light installations that are great for capturing memories with your families. There are ample stations to sit, purchase treats like popcorn and churros and also hot chocolate and adult beverages along the trail. There is also a handful of food trucks available in case you want to sit down and eat before you get started. Another plus are the porta potties are lighted and well stocked in case you need to use.
Children were fascinated with the smores station where you can purchase all the fixings to roast over an open fire.
