This is concerning a female substitute IUSD employee named Britany Alexander she is a Safety Assistant, Black African American woman. This employee just got hired back in 08/2023 with the IUSD, and based on factual information from many current district employees she is now receiving severe decrimination treatment, and facing harsh retaliation from Martin Sissac, in the school police department of IUSD for doing nothing wrong only her job!
It is the case that Martin Sissac, is showing many other Safety Assistant employees favoritism, and hiring more Safety Assistants just to debunk Ms. Britany Alexander from working all because she is a black female with a special education child.
“Everyone in the district says Martin Sissac has his favorites which are all male Safety Assistants.”
We haven’t spoken to Ms Britany Alexander. She will not provide any comments, but according to the IUSD Safety Assistants, and IUSD employees the Chief, Mr. Martin Sissac had recently blacklisted her from working daily as a Safety Assistant Substitute for IUSD mainly because she reported the wrongful acts by another Safety Assistant coworker to the district administrators concerning her child, and received backlash!
Martin Sissac, discussed Britany Alexander’s confidential job status with other district employees to humiliate her as not being able to work due having kids at the district while working on many school campus.
All district employees in the Safety Department said Britany Alexander is a very hardworking Safety Assistant, and helps all her coworkers by giving them support, on difficult days.
My sources also tell me that she has worked at various schools, including on the same campuses with her children and always kept a professional unbiased demeanor. It is unfortunate she was recently targeted by her school police department heads for intentionally not scheduling her work on a consistent basis, and putting other new hires in front of her, so it looks as though the district doesn’t have availble work to offer her as a substitute, and the school police department preferred to shift all the open vacancies to their new Safety Assistants new hires.
Under Martin Sissac authority, many IUSD employees working between September 2023 to present has left their job positions as a Safety Assistant with the school police department. We won’t name these employees, but it was 2 males, and 2 females. The employees that left stated “Martin Sissac is a narcissist, ” and is not a team player, and he doesn’t let any Safety Assistant tell him no! He doesn’t recognize any employees for doing a good job, or for having good attendance! Martin Sissac also doesn’t listen when we kindly request incentives by asking for raises for our hard dedicated work he refuse to lend us a hand with our union.
The IUSD keeps getting large sums of money, and our Chief Martin Sissac is in charge of the funds to advocate for us, and is not doing so effectively. The IUSD new funding is mainly supposed to be equally distributed between all district departments, but the large sums of money is only being allocated to people only holding office occupation titles on the district payroll. Many employees liked the last Chief Carter William much better.
This district cares more about their high salaries instead of the school children education, and its less field trips, poor school pollution facets which are making our school kids sick, and old rest rooms with possible mold, but frequent salary increases.
This district needs an salary audit!
If you compare salaries from LAUSD for the same job positions as our IUSD district you will see that IUSD is embezzling district funds unlawfully, and this needs to be reported!
