FOUNTAIN VALLEY – One person was killed Friday in a crash near Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley.
The crash occurred at 12:15 p.m. at Newhope Street and Heil Avenue, according to a department spokesman.
Video from the scene on the Citizen app showed one car in flames after crashing into a brick fence, another severely damaged car in the intersection and debris scattered in the roadway.
