TOLUCA LAKE – A person was struck and killed by a vehicle on the Ventura (101) Freeway near Toluca Lake Thursday, authorities said.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at around 3:51 a.m. to the northbound Ventura (101) Freeway and the Vineland Avenue on-ramp where they found the collision, according to CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
It was not immediately known how many vehicles were involved in the collision.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said. The person’s gender was not immediately released.
