LOS ANGELES (2UrbanGirls) – A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a driver in the North Hills neighborhood Thursday night.
Officers responded to the 8600 block of Woodley Avenue, between Parthenia Street and Roscoe Boulevard, around 6:40 p.m. Thursday to a report of a severe collision involving a motorcycle, according to Sgt. John Matassa, with LAPD Traffic Division.
Upon arrival, officers found a male motorcyclist that was killed after being struck by a speeding driver in a white BMW.
The driver of the BMW then collided with parked cars further south on Woodley before they fled on foot.
The victims identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
