LOS ANGELES – A man was found stabbed in front of a liquor store in South Los Angeles Saturday morning.
Los Angeles Police officers with 77th Street Division responded to reports of a stabbing victim in the 8400 block of Main St. shortly after midnight.
When officers arrived at Lucky’s Liquor Store, they located a male down on the sidewalk unconscious.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect dropping a knife and picking it back up as the victim walked out of the store with a female only seconds before the stabbing occurred.
The suspect picked up the knife and walked off after the victim. The man was stabbed multiple times.
Life saving measures were started with paramedics taking the victim to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
