BOYLE HEIGHTS – A man has died after being fatally shot in Boyle Heights Friday morning.
Los Angeles Police Department officers with Hollenbeck Division responded to a shooting victim in the 3400 block of Emery St. around 2:43 a.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a male victim down in the street suffering from gunshot wounds as well as a fully-engulfed RV.
Los Angeles Fire Department crews arrived and tended to the victim and also extinguished the fire.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Witnesses stated two male suspects fled the scene related to the shooting.
It is unclear if the RV fire is connected to the shooting at this time.
