LOS ANGELES (2UrbanGirls) – A synagogue in the Tarzana area of Los Angeles was damaged early Monday morning in a possible hate crime.
Los Angeles Police Department officers with the West Valley Division responded to a call about a hate crime in the 6100 block of Wilbur Ave. shortly after midnight.
Officers arrived at the Eretz Synagogue and Cultural Center” located at 6170 Wilbur Ave. Officers arrived and found that a vehicle had driven through both entrance gates at the Synagogue and fled the location.
The groundskeeper was at the location when the crime occurred, and heard the crash.
LAPD cleared the location after searching for any suspects that could still be on the property. No vehicle was found at the scene.
LAPD will continue their investigation which includes reviewing surveillance cameras installed around the property.
