As the holiday season approaches, and the air is filled with a crisp, comforting chill, it’s only natural for us to take a moment to reflect on the blessings in our lives.

Thanksgiving, in particular, has a unique way of reminding us of the importance of gratitude. It’s a time when families come together, tables are adorned with hearty feasts, and the spirit of togetherness fills the air.

For me, this holiday season holds a deeper significance, as we prepare for the Second Annual “Food for the Family” Thanksgiving Event in honor of my beloved son, Bobby Brown Jr.

Bobby Jr. was a remarkable soul, known for his vibrant spirit and boundless love for his family. He left an indelible mark on the world, not only through his love but through his legacy. His memory lives on through the love we share with our community.

In honor of Bobby Jr., we have embraced the opportunity to give back through The Bobbi Kristina Serenity House, a non-profit Domestic Violence Safe Haven founded in 2015. Our mission is to provide support, shelter, and resources for survivors of domestic violence. The pain and suffering endured by survivors are real, and it’s our collective responsibility to create a world without domestic abuse.

My wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, and I are deeply committed to this cause. We believe that our collective voices can be a catalyst for change. We may not have the power to predict the future, but we hold the keys to shaping it. Our children are the future, and our decision is not whether we should invest in their well-being, but how quickly we can make that commitment.

The “Food for the Family” event is a testament to our unwavering commitment to making a positive change in the lives of those affected by domestic violence. We aim to honor the memory of Bobby Jr. by spreading love, compassion, and hope.

This Thanksgiving, we are providing 100 deserving families with the ingredients for a heartwarming Thanksgiving meal, ensuring that they can celebrate the holiday with warmth and joy. This season, let us all reflect on the things that truly matter—love, compassion, and the opportunity to make a difference.

If you know of a family in need or someone who could use an extra blessing this holiday season, please reach out to us. Together, we can make a difference and spread love and compassion, embodying the true spirit of Thanksgiving.

Encourage anyone who knows of a family in need or someone who could use an extra blessing this holiday season to reach out via email to us at [email protected].

With heartfelt gratitude,

Bobby Brown
