LONG BEACH, Calif. – Two men got into an argument Saturday in Long Beach and one opened fire at the other, but struck an innocent bystander.
The shooting occurred about 12:20 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of East Market Street, according to a Long Beach Police Department statement.
The two men involved in the argument fled the scene, police said.
Paramedics took the wounded man to a hospital for treatment of injuries not believed life-threatening, police said.
The shooting was under investigation.
