CORONA, Calif. – A wrong-way driver was killed in a fiery crash Sunday night.
California Highway Patrol officers and the Corona Fire Department responded to a call shortly before midnight about a wrong-way traffic collision at the 91 and 15 freeways.
Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles fully engulfed in flames with one vehicle being identified as a Tesla.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene and their identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The condition of the other driver is unknown at this time.
The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert and diverted traffic off at Main Street in Corona.
