Los Angeles Chargers fans can rejoice that season-ticket prices will remain the same in 2024.
It has become a tradition of sorts that the Chargers reach out to season ticket holders nearly midway through the current season to prepare them to start preparing to pony up for the next season.
We appreciate our Season Ticket Members unwavering support and the incredible atmosphere you have created at SoFi Stadium this season. We look forward to seeing what the rest of the season holds and continuing to share unforgettable memories with the Bolt Fam.
While we still have a lot of football left this season, it’s almost time for your first payment for the 2024 season.
If you are on an installment plan, you will be billed in nine (9) monthly payments beginning November 15th.
Chargers tickets remain at the bargain price of $60 per seat, in the upper deck section making games affordable for fans to attend.
The resale market appears to have cooled off as a direct result. Former season-ticket holders have gave up their seats and instead pay to attend a select amount of games but in better seats with more options available.
On the other hand, the Los Angeles Rams announced their season-ticket prices are increasing. The first time since the stadium opened to the public three years ago.
“Using market data and trying to understand what the price of tickets should be, we thought a price increase was reasonable overall,” Kevin Demoff, the Rams’ chief operating officer, said during a videoconference with reporters. “Given the context of normally teams raise ticket prices each year — we haven’t for three years — this is a pretty moderate increase coming off three years without an increase.”
The Rams also will introduce two new programs.
A “Ticket Turnover Program” enables season-ticket holders to sell back tickets for as many as three games for a credit toward the next season.
A food and non-alcoholic beverage discount program will enable members to receive price breaks on game days ranging from 15% to 30% depending on membership level, the team said.
Dan August, executive vice president of consumer revenue and strategy, said the program resulted from season-ticket member survey feedback, and that the team was “trying to find the benefit for them to not have to always look at the secondary market if they know in advance they can’t make it” to certain games.
Are you a season-ticket holder for either team? If so, do you plan on renewing?
