WHITTIER – A body was found Monday near an onramp to the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in the Whittier area.
The body was discovered about 8:50 a.m. near the Rose Hills Road onramp to the northbound freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Information was not immediately available on the person’s identity or cause of death.
The onramp was closed while an investigation was conducted.
