A 60-year-old man riding a bicycle was killed when he was struck by a vehicle near Los Angeles International Airport, authorities said Monday.
The crash occurred at about 8:35 p.m. Sunday on Imperial Highway at California Street, according to a dispatcher at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
An eastbound vehicle crashed into the bicycle as it crossed southbound on Imperial, she said.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene following the crash.
The cause of the crash was being investigated.
