LOS ANGELES – A pedestrian who was killed when he was struck by a car on a South Los Angeles street was identified Wednesday.
The death occurred at 9:12 p.m. Sunday on Main Street at Vernon Avenue, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
The victim was identified as Mark Logan, 55, by the Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner. His city of residence was not immediately known.
Logan was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the car remained at the scene.
