INGLEWOOD – One person has died after being shot in the north end of Inglewood Tuesday night.
Inglewood Police Department officers responded to a multi-vehicle accident around 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of Venice Way and Victor Ave.
Upon arrival, two people were found suffering from gunshot wounds and transported to the hospital in an unknown condition. One of the victims is confirmed to have died, according to a local news report.
Their identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
A witness spoke to a videographer off-camera and said they heard the shots and then saw a vehicle leave the scene and hit an innocent driver before watching the suspects flee on foot.
Inglewood Police have the street blocked for the investigation.
This is the second shooting in Inglewood with multiple victims this month.
Five people were shot while sitting in their vehicle on Oct. 7. Two died from their injuries.
