LOS ANGELES – Two people were injured in shooting in south Los Angeles Thursday night.
Los Angeles Police Officers with the Newton Division responded to a shots fired call before midnight in the 500 block of East Vernon Ave.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a male with a gunshot wound to the neck in the alley behind the address.
Officers additionally located a female victim also suffering from a gunshot wound nearby.
Both victims were transported to the hospital in unknown condition by LAFD.
There is no suspect description available.
