A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy was acquitted this week of a felony count of workers’ compensation insurance fraud.
Jurors deliberated about two hours before returning their verdict on Wednesday, Sept. 13, in the case of Kevin Adams, defense attorney Jacob Glucksman said.
The prosecution alleged that Adams — who worked at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility — had filed a false workplace injury claim for which he received disability benefits, while the defense countered that there was an error in medical records about the cause of Adams’ March 2015 knee injury.
Adams, now 50, was charged in 2020 and has been on unpaid leave since then, his attorney said.
Glucksman said he intends to file a petition seeking to have his client declared factually innocent of the charge.
“He has wanted his job back from Day One,” Glucksman said. “He is optimistic that he will be able to return.”

Again how many of these bills were ran by the voters to see if they even wanted these bills to be implemented?? Was there a vote on it withing the communities it will affect? Does nobody else see that we are literally being taken over by our own government before I very eyes while we sit complacent twiddling our thumbs and taking it from behind with no Vaseline. I for one am definitely looking into moving my complete family line all the back to my great grandma out of California which is now a communist state
