LOS ANGELES – A police pursuit came to a fiery end Tuesday morning in East Los Angeles.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were in pursuit of a black Porsche that crashed into one of their cruisers around 2:45 a.m.
The suspect led deputies on a pursuit on the eastbound 60 freeway into the Diamond Bar area where California Highway Patrol officers took over the pursuit. The suspect took the southbound, 71 freeway from the EB 60 fwy into the Chino Hills area.
The suspect crashed and flipped the black Porsche on the northbound, five freeway at the 710 fwy interchange. The suspect ran on foot but was taken into custody by CHP.
The suspect vehicle caught fire on the 5 freeway interchange.
