BURBANK (CNS) – A pedestrian was killed Wednesday after being struck by a Toyota Prius in Burbank Wednesday.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at 3:07 a.m. to the westbound Ventura (134) Freeway, just west of South Buena Vista Drive where they found the victim lying in the second lane of the freeway, according to a CHP spokesperson.
The pedestrian, whose gender, name and age was not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash closed all lanes of the westbound freeway and the Buena Vista on ramp for several hours while the CHP conducted its investigation.
