LOS ANGELES – A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run Friday night.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a call of a traffic collision before midnight at the intersection of 83rd Place and Normandie Ave.
Upon arrival, the noticed a person down in the traffic lanes. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The victims identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The vehicle that struck the pedestrian fled the scene.
