BELLFLOWER, Calif. – A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed Tuesday on the Artesia (91) Freeway in the Bellflower area.
The person was injured at about 5:55 a.m. on the eastbound 91 Freeway near Clark Avenue, according to the California highway Patrol.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally injured person.
The HOV lane and the Nos. 1-3 lanes were closed in the area while an investigation was conducted.
