BAKERSFIELD – A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a driver Tuesday night.
Bakersfield Police officers responded to calls for a traffic collision about 7:30 p.m. in the area of Chester and 4th Street.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from injuries and was transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
The driver was given a field sobriety test and was taken into custody.
