LOS ANGELES – A man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run pickup truck in South Los Angeles, authorities said Sunday.
The pedestrian was struck at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday by a white pickup truck traveling southbound on Hoover Street, approaching Pico Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The truck failed to stay at the location and arriving paramedics rushed the man to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
