LONG BEACH, Calif. – A man was in the hospital after he was shot in the lower body in north Long Beach, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred at 11:38 p.m. Sunday in the 2500 block of East 67th Street, according to Long Beach police Lt. Gerrit DeJongh.
Paramedics took the victim to a hospital for treatment of wounds not believed life-threatening, DeJongh said.
Gang detectives were investigating the shooting, he said.
