SANTA MONICA – A 56-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in Santa Monica Friday and was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the Santa Monica Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Ocean and Marguerita avenues Friday around 8:34 a.m. to a report regarding a traffic collision.
Police said a man was hit by a 2018 Toyota SUV traveling northbound on Marguerita Avenue while the pedestrian was crossing westbound on Ocean Avenue.
The motorist remained at the scene of the accident and was cooperative during the investigation, police said.
