INGLEWOOD – The Inglewood Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver of a fatal hit-and-run left left a pedestrian dead.
On Friday, September 22nd , at approximately 5:09 AM, Inglewood officers responded to Century Boulevard and Maple Avenue regarding a traffic collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 28-year-old female resident of Lennox, was treated by Los Angeles County Fire personnel at the scene. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. The pedestrian’s identity is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
The Inglewood Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify the “Hit and Run” driver and the vehicle, a grey Dodge Challenger with tinted windows, involved in this collision. The Dodge Charger is believed to have front-end collision damage as a result of this collision.
