INGLEWOOD (2UG) – A man died from his injuries after crashing into a pole near Inglewood Tuesday night.
Family have identified James Harrison, 30, an Inglewood resident, as the victim of the crash. His family has established a GoFundMe to raise funds for burial expenses.
“Our hearts are forever pierced and this earth shattering loss has severely impacted us all. Those who knew and loved James rejoiced in his contagious presence whenever he was around. That laugh and smile would turn moods around instantly. James will be forever loved and his legacy will be carried on as we know that is God’s will. The Family respects and appreciates all love and support shown. For those inquiring about donating towards memorial expenses and overall support, please do so here. This is the only funding source the Family is approving.”

Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene about 9:47 p.m. and found a dark-colored sedan crashed into a light pole that was upside down.
Harrison had to be extracted from the vehicle and was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
A vigil will be held in his memory tonight at 6 p.m. at the Culver City stairs.
“He loved working out at the stairs and that was the last place he was at before the accident,” said a member of his family.
