HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Hollywood, and the alleged motorist was arrested, police said Monday.
The man was struck about 10 p.m. Sunday while crossing Highland Avenue near Fountain Avenue, and he died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. His name was not immediately released.
The motorist fled but was arrested shortly after the crash, police said. His name also was not released.
